Commander Ash Tronomy (CAT) is my alter ego, who is on a mission to frack with the system and reclaim space for disabled, queer, working-class creative beings through short cabaret and live art performances.
CAT was developed through my Unlimited Micro-Commission for Space Chronic-ills and docked at Wigan Pier, Warrington Pyramid and Contact as part of my original 14-minute performance.
Making, performing and touring larger-scale work is not within my capacity right now, so I've decided to make micro-performances and take CAT out and about to events and scratch nights to keep my creative muscles warm and also develop the work slowly (on 'crip time').
CAT's first outing was at the Canal Street Kings - Club Kids night at the Brewers, Canal Street in July 2025.
I've since developed the soundtrack, the performance, the creative access and audience participation for this piece, now titled 'Hot Air'.

I recently performed Hot Air live at Social Experiment, Contact on Thursday 11th June 2026. Were you there? If you were, I'd love your feedback.
