My work reflects my lived experience being a disabled, queer, working-class arts and science nerd! I’m experienced in working with arts organisations on accessibility, visitor experience, audience development, digital engagement, marketing, facilitation, outreach, project management and producing. What I do in a nutshell…
Develop strategic access and inclusion frameworks and policies for venues, organisations and artists
Support producers to integrate access into events and performances
Work collaboratively with artists and technologists to embed creative integrated access throughout the making process for themselves and their audiences
Support teams with audience and participant access and experience
Produce accessible documentation, resources and marketing materials (e.g. Access Agreements, What to Expect guides, BSL and Audio Flyers)
Coordinate and support access providers (e.g. Lived Experience Consultants, BSL interpreters, captioners and audio describers)
Produce and deliver access and inclusion workshops and training materials
Mentor emerging access consultants and disabled artists
Offer guidance and insight into access, equity, diversity and inclusion - including Disability Justice, anti-racism and LGBTQ+ inclusion
